404 & Broken Page Monitor

Pages visitors tried to reach that could not be found, taken from Google Analytics for this website. Anything Analytics does not report is shown as “Not provided” rather than guessed.

How 404s are detected

Google Analytics has no 404 of its own, so a view counts as a broken page when the page title contains “404” or “not found”, or the address contains “/404”. If a website’s error page does not use one of those titles, its broken links cannot be detected and this page will keep showing none — the fix is to give that site’s error page a title such as “404 – Page Not Found”. Analytics also only reports the website address (host) on some setups, so a www vs non-www problem is only visible when the host column is filled in.
